Astrology is the science that studies celestial bodies (planets) and how these cycles affect life on earth. More importantly, astrology shows how the energies of the solar system affect us. Everything in the universe is energy. I want to tell my clients that the energies of the planets affect you, at any time, but we still have free will and choice. We choose how to respond to the energies that affect us in terms of our thoughts, words and actions. The Moon affects the tides of the ocean, so why would it affect us? Have you ever wondered why when their is a full moon people are more irritable, more cars are down on the side of the road and the kids are more hyper? It is not a coincidence. Moon governs our emotional nature and our body is made up of 85% water. I like to use astrology as a way to help others gain greater self-awareness and help them to understand others, simply.

Throughout history, famous people have studied astrology and used for many purposes. The Magi of the Bible were astrologers and I learned that Christ would be born to a conjuntion planets. This is when the planets appear in time and in the same place in the sky that starts the beginning of a new cycle. Sir Isaac Newton and Pythagoras were astrologers. The Bible is full of astrological information. Christ had 12 disciples, and there were 12 tribes of Israel, which are associated with the 12 signs of the zodiac. In the book, Kabbalistic astrology, it is explained that the 12 son of Jacob were representative of the 12 zodiac signs and personality traits of each son were used to describe each sun sign we know today .

The most interesting fact about the terms and easiest way to remember what signs are governed by which quality is to look at what some call astrologer, "Polar Opposites". The astrological wheel consists of 12 houses and each house is headed by one of the 12 signs. Contradicting signs that always opposite to each other on the wheel. The same thing can occur when a fire sign and water sign meet. Air causes fires to grow and develop the creation of an energy compatible. The same can be seen with signs of Earth and Water.
