astrologer?
An astrologer has one or more forms of astrology. Typically
an astrologer establishes a horoscope for the time of an event such as a
person's birth, and interprets celestial points and their placements at the
time of the event to better understand someone, determine the auspiciousness
start a business, etc. However, the methods used by astrologers are variable
and depend on the particular astrological tradition they employ and the
information desired.
In the distant past, the role often entailed astronomical
observation or manual calculation of celestial phenomena. In more modern times,
however, these methods have been largely replaced by pre-calculated ephemerides
and astrological software.
Historically, the term was used to mathematicus appoint a
competent person in astrology, astronomy and mathematics.
Not accredited universities in the United
States or the United
Kingdom offer degrees in astrology if a
number of Indian schools do. Although there are a number of astrological
associations in the world, there is no central governing body which has special
license to certify astrologers.
Astrological?
Astrology is purely based on the principle of karma (work) and Phal (reward), as explained by Lord Krishna in Bhagwat Gita Srimad. We are independent to karma, each of our good or bad karma is recorded in the book of records of the supreme power and we have to suffer the consequences of karmas, sooner or later, when the time is ripe for such results. Our life is not long enough to see the results of our karmas in life itself. Thus, the balance of consequences we have to face in the next life. This is why we sometimes say that despite all my good karma, why I am facing such a bad time (this may be because of our karmas in our previous life). Or sometimes we think we have something for which we had not made reasonable efforts (this can be balanced based on the results of our karmas in past lives).
